If you’re looking for a hand-made alternative to pressed records, you’ve come to the right place!

We use two very different lathes to produce a range of different records in runs up to 50.

At the heart of our studio is a 70-odd year old Presto 28N double table. It is a beautiful, mono, all-valve, 400kg beast of mid-century engineering. It is thought to be the last of it’s kind anywhere in the world and has a very interesting history that can be read about here. We offer lathe cuts, lacquer dubs and masters cut on this machine, as well as direct-to-disc recording sessions. For hi-fi cuts, we use a modern, stereo recording lathe, equipped with a diamond cutting stylus.

Each lathe cut record is a truly unique limited-edition, cut in real time by an experienced engineer, on high-quality blanks – we no longer use PVC. It’s nasty.

We can cut 7″ (small or large hole; round or square cuts), 10″ and 12″ records for you, at 33, 45 and 78 RPM.

Colour options are black, white, clear or transparent red, green or blue – other colours and marble effects are also possible, please get in touch to discuss.

We can also help you out with a number of artwork options, such as labels and sleeves – just ask!

All prices include basic mastering using custom-built analogue equipment.
